Acceptance and Commitment Training
Supporting wellbeing in palliative care staff
RESTORE is a research project funded by the National Institute for Health and care Research, and sponsored by the University of Edinburgh.
The aim is to investigate whether training in RESTORE helps improve mental wellbeing and reduce stress in palliative care staff. Thirty hospices across the United Kingdom are participating in this trial. Half will receive the RESTORE training and half will continue to access their usual wellbeing support. All participants will complete questionnaires about their mental wellbeing, stress, and intention to leave at four timepoints over a six month period. This will allow us to determine whether RESTORE has had an impact. You can find out more about the basis of RESTORE on this website.
